Cosmic Watch

The astronomical study of measuring time has been pursued for thousands of years by all major cultures. To know the seasons was of crucial importance for being able to plant and harvest crops in the right moment. Ancient cultures were able to understand the motion of the celestial bodies moving across the night sky and the earth revolving orbiting around the sun in one year, even the complex motion of the moon was decoded making it possible to predict eclipses already in the years BC. The motion of planets remained a mystery for hundreds of years until the heliocentric view made it possible to understand gravity and to calculate the orbits of the wandering stars. This fascinated us.

In my own opinion, this latest and trending technology, is an  innovative way to know our current time as well as the past time or ancient times and also it can trigger the orbital way of our planet to know  our time.

The Cosmic Watch has 3 main modes.
This are quick presets to the most useful settings.
To start from zero press on the logo icon at the top left hand corner.

The main modes are:

  • WORLD CLOCK : Timekeeping
  • ASTRONOMY : constellations and planets on your sky
  • ASTROLOGY : a different kind of astral chart
In ancient times this three disciplines where united. We thought it interesting to show the relationship of these disciplines, as they use the same basic knowledge.

The Time control is the main feature of the Cosmic Watch and holds the key of understanding the apparent motion of the sky.
To fast-forward the time is a mind blowing experience.
It’s like watching a time-lapse video.
Perhaps we don’t know how the future will be, but we know where the planets will be. (The cosmic Watch should be accurate for the next thousand years 🙂
